Your are right, it is the Christ in me that allows the Word to take root and change situations, not my many efforts. As I was meditating this morning, my friend "Martha Martha" was in my face. Reminding me of all the things I had to do today and that I needed to get busy. But Mary came before me and she did what was needful, sat at Jesus feet. So, this morning, I turned Martha away and sat at Jesus feet, allowing the Word to impart wisdom on what was necessary, just for today, not tomorrow. Thanks Kay. I love you!
