Do you have a heart to pray for the nations? Do you desire to be a part of the plan of God in bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation on earth? Do you want to see God’s kingdom come and His will done on earth “all over the earth” as it is in heaven? If your answer is yes to those questions, then you already have the heartbeat of Pray For The Nation.org.
The vision of this ministry is for every nation in the world to be covered specifically and regularly in prayer by at least one believing individual from any nation around the world. It’s a big vision, but it’s not too big for God! These prayers are to make each heart ready for the gospel of Jesus Christ, to tear down strongholds over the nations and peoples, and to strengthen our brothers and sisters in those nations, all to prepare the way for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord continues to expand the “how” of this vision as He reveals additional steps to help achieve it. Prayer Nuggets are practical lessons to help God’s people pray more effectively in every area of their lives, which also help when praying for nations around the world. The Prayer Map has been added to show which nations are covered in prayer and which are still in need of covering through this ministry. Frontline Dispatch brings current events of prayer and praise interest of visitors to this site to help us pray specific, targeted prayers, and rejoice when we see answers to prayer manifest!
One new part of this ministry is the ability to connect you to various ministries and missionaries already working all around the world. It is one thing to pray for the people, the nations, and the missionaries, as well. It is another, however, to put feet to our prayers, as I like to say. Having connections with missionaries allows us to pray and give specifically, to help spread the gospel in different lands. It is a blessing to me to provide links to various ministries with which I am familiar, in hopes that you, too, will connect with them.
I know this is not all Pray For Our Nation.org will ever be, but the Lord hasn’t revealed anything more to me at this time. When He does, I’ll go for it with fear and trembling, no doubt; also, with complete confidence in His grace to do all He asks, because He is the True and Faithful One.
